Carbon DCT selector fitting - JBSpeed

I recently purchased the carbon shifter from JBSpeed and today fitted it to my car. Overall am really pleased with it but wanted to call out a few words of caution.

Removal of the old one - I taoed the area and used a small jewellers screwdriver - it was very hard to get the old item out without actually leaving any marks on the plastic insert. I understand why IND sell there kit with a replacement insert.

Also the OEM adhesive comes off very easily. It care has to be taken not to pull off the M logo on the shifter as if you carelessly pull the adhesive off the back then you can take the silver off the M leaving it not looking to great. Again I understand why a replacement is provided.

Fitment is very good and overall the look is great. Here are the pictures

Yes very slight piece which i will replace with new part - its very tricky to do and had no prior warning.

Still good quality though.

Yes that's the plan. Did you buy from dealer?

Yeah, had them fitted at running in service.
It took so little time that they didn't even charge for labour.
