BMW OWNERS in regards to SERVICE

I have a question in regards to servicing the BMW 3 / 4 series. BMW covers 4 years of service. What do they service in the 4 years? I cannot find anywhere that states what they actually do in the 4 years of free service, it's not that transparent.

I herd....
year 1 - minor service
year 2- major service
year 3- minor service
year 4- major service

I would appreciate your comments if you have info about the free service.

The services are specified in the Warranty and Service Book (provided along with the Owner's Handbook, etc.), at least on U.S. models.

Oh really? I'll take a look to see if we have this here in Canada.

Anyways, I know that at 2 years, they will also do the brake fluids. Other than that, I think all services just consist of changing oil, inspecting a bunch of stuff, and topping off fluids.

As mentioned, the service and warranty booklet (kind of) goes over that stuff. Essentially, the Condition-Based-Service (mentioned here, there, everywhere) takes care of almost all service call-outs. They include oil changes, brakes, brake fluid, air filter, and a few other things. You can also get new wiper blades and cabin filters.

There is no yearly inspection any more, nor Inspection I or II. It's a bit annoying, as it means the customer spends more time taking the car in for the disparate service call-outs rather than getting everything done once per year.

Bad luck but good choice. More warning lights will come when you run really low on oil.
Make an appointment at BMW.

Just ask your SA to detail it. It's that simple.
