Hazard Lights on Braking

This morning I was on a quick one and pulling up from quite a high cruising altitude. When I pulled up I realised my hazard lights were on. It took me a couple of seconds to realise that it was an automatic response from my car. As far as I was concerned it wasn't a particularly hard braking manoeuvre (clearly my car thought otherwise!) and the ABS was not engaged in the slightest. Anybody else had this happen? If you take these on a track it must do it all the time!

Yea every vid I've seen this happening its on a track.

I asked about this after it happened on a test drive. I was concerned that it might happen on track.

Apparently, it only happens if you brake hard to a full stop.
