My 325 - New to E90POST :)

Hi guys,

new to BMW, new to the forum!

Mrs purchased a 1 series Convertibable about 6 months back and after driving it a few times fell in love with the way it handles however wanted something a little bigger.

After driving the 3 series, fell in love instantly and knew it was the car i wanted however still being young and on my probationary license i was unable to get a 335! so the 325 had to do!

2009 MY10 325i MSport with all the features! except stereo upgrade (spewing) lol.

Certainly beats the '92 535i I had on my Ps, lol. Congrats on the car mate, looks fantastic. What are your plans for it in the future, any mods?

Surprisinly these models have plenty of free mods to them haha... first one being: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=213042 (step 1-3 are pretty much all you need)

What about this (second last post)? he claimed that it can be done from the trunk.
http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...213042&page=15

also, does this work on 325i with N52B25 engine as well? The original thread is for theirs 135i...

I believe all M sports with twin tip have the butterfly valve..
Much easier and quicker to do it from under the car IMO

edit: I guess the car doesn't need to be an m sport, just twin tipped..

For the non-turbo cars I believe that most mods around are cosmetic, but that doesn't mean they lack in variety. The amount of stuff that's out there to personalise your car and get it the way and style you want it is crazy. Of course a lot of people follow similar formulas and just small differences can make you super happy.
I'm honestly not sure of any power tunes for the 325i but forums and google are your friend in that regard.
The Golf Tee mod is great because it's easily reversible if you don't like it. There's always M Performance Exhaust / Aftermarket route as well.

Respect where it is due! Well done mate.

Totally respect youngans that earn their things and don't have them handed to them.

Nice ride! Enjoy her, and the chicks you no doubt pull with this car.

That is a nice car. I am quite jealous, white e92 M sport's are the best combo.

Don't waste your money modding anything performance wise, there isn't enough bang for buck without turbo's. Save your money and put it towards something when you're off your P's if you're still keen when you finish them.

My $0.02... keep it clean like it is, and make sure it's legal.
It's already turning heads and the cops will be all over you with those P plates... Haters gonna hate.

Sweet ride dude.. congrats and welcome to the forum..... Scottys right mods and P plates attract attention, especially if you're acting like a tool .... Bling mods are generally less $$ intensive then performance mods.. The forum has heaps of great DIY which helps save money and threads on everything from rims to wipers... and the odd argument about cold air intakes vs dual cone intakes. If you need anything just ask..

Yeah the white M sport is what i was hunting for! took me a little while to find right one, this actually popped up right before i was about to settle for a black because i couldnt find a white/dakota combo with everything. great timing and luck!

as for mods, dont stress! i am not going to make it look like a chocked up P plater car, i was to keep it classy with subtle tasteful mods I.E boot lip spoiler etc.

Suprisingly the cops havent been on my ass so far. its standard m sport suspension height and in reality they have nothing to dik me for and i intend to keep it that way!

yeah cant justify engine mods on an N/A.

Yay for SA laws. I'm 24 and when I moved here I went from my Green Ps straight to my full licence when I was like 19 1/2. Mine came in through work as a trade in so I was able to steal it for what it's worth. My E90 LCI 323iA was what I was content to rock until the opportunity came up that I couldn't miss. How long til you're off your Ps?
