Removing Euro front plate

The Washington state plates for my ED 2015 328i have arrived and while I have plastic brackets to mount them, I don't know how to get the front Euro plate off. It has no apparent fasteners.

What do I need to do?

It's held on by sticky tape. Just leave it in the sun (as if you could get enough there this time of year) or take a hair dryer out and warm it up. Leave the hair dryer on low, you don't want to peel the paint. Once you have it warmed up just peel it off.

Or leave it on and use double sided tape to stick your US plate over the euro plate. It's what a lot of people here do.

It uses very strong sticky tape. I just peeled it off slowly. In retrospect heating it would've been safer.
