WTB: 2006 323i Differential
Hey guys,
Looking for a diff for my 2006 bmw 323i. There's a grinding noise coming from my diff so I was hoping to find one that is a bolt on replacement. Thanks! Last edited by Oostevey; 11-07-2014 at 04:32 PM.. Reason: Forgot to put WTB |

323i 2008 MT differnetial rebuild
Hi,
For those that are interested to rebuild their rear differential like I did and save big money, I have found this interesting guide that show how to proceed. Also it is good to know that you can buy bearings and gear on ebay for E90 168L differential at: gearboxpartsonline.com one-stop-gearbox-shop |

I have a full diff from my E90 330i (MT Transmission - 3.15 final drive) that I have for sale. No issues, just upgraded to a more aggressive final drive diff from an AT diff. Probably has about 200k km's on it.
Looking up the final drive ratio on realoem.com for a 323i it looks like it uses a 3.23 final drive for MT and 3.73 for AT. If you have a MT car my diff would be pretty close, just slightly taller. I can't confirm if it would be a direct bolt on though, but I would be shocked if it wasn't. Only asking $100 for the complete diff, fluid was swapped at 100k so it isn't like it was on the original oil all its life. Last edited by Volasko; 07-04-2017 at 03:13 PM.. |
