Lucky chap indeed. Saw him in his 6 Vert once on the M6. On the other hand do you think any of us Joe Publics would be as lucky. Me neither

Was it a M6?

The article missed the bit about a Blue 335d going past them both at the time.

Sentencing Khan, 21, of Bolton, District Judge Pamela Baldwin said there was not enough evidence to prove he was driving at more than 100mph but she was satisfied that it was in excess of 70mph.
Yeah right!
Any one of us would have got a minimum 6 mth ban.

Yes Ian, it can take a long sentence to ensure one is PC.

Ridiculous how it's taken so long to 'sentence' him as well. Guilty until proven innocent taken to the extreme.

The first line of the article is rather misleading. It goes on to say that tere was "insufficient evidence to convict him of exceeding 100 mph". So he wasn't actually "for driving at 140mph".

Sounds as if it was a single police officer without VASCAR or maybe his smart lawyer proved it hadn't been calibrated. Either way it seems it was just the officers evidence which convicted him.

Lucky lad.

He certainly sounds like a twit in a car. Ran a red light on the wrong side of the road and knocked someone down, how does he respond - by continuing to drive like a manic. Sooner he's banned the better.

No that was Naseem Hamed, who takes arrogance to extreme and unheard of levels!
