Hijacked 335i Melbourne - Anyone from here?

http://www.theage.com.au/victoria/bm...18-11orfg.html

A man has been carjacked at gunpoint by a masked gang in Melbourne's affluent south-east.

The 22-year-old was sitting in his BMW coupe near his home in Armadale about midnight when he was boxed in by two Audis.

A balaclava-clad man used a firearm to tap on the man's window and demanded he get out of the vehicle, Victoria Police Creina O'Grady said.

The terrified victim got out of his $43,000 car and another man drove the car away, forming a convoy with the two Audis.

Police believe there were five men involved in the Densham Avenue incident.

The cars turned right onto Malvern Road towards Kooyong Road.

The victim was not injured in the incident.

The stolen BMW was purchased only one month ago. The registration number is 1CV-9HX.

When I heard this on the radio, I immediately pictured this happening to me. Then found out it was an E92 - too close to home! (Luckily no-one wants to jack a 325i though!).

Glad the young fella wasn't hurt or anything.

Holy shit that over the top. The downside to having a nice car. Hopefully they get caught.

It's like 30 seconds away from where I am and I got home at 11.30pm last night - so close call!

But hahah yeah... they probably think our 1ers are slow as hell anyway!

The question is, are they going to mod it before using it as a get away car?
