N55 Rough Idle / Stall on Cold start

Ever since this cold weather, my car has had some trouble when starting up. A week ago when it was semi chilly, it would turn over then the RPMs would go up and down like the car was stalling for 10 seconds, then go to normal. This morning when it was super cold, it turned over then just died automatically, i had to keep giving it gas for 10 seconds or so, then it was alright. Any idea what this might be? JB4 related?

No Codes,

Tried putting Jb4 into map 0 before starting today, same issue.
Last year didn't have this issue, however last winter I did not have catless downpipe, this is the only new mod I have put on.

Same exact issue every single morning past winter. Catless DP seems to make the issue worse.

I had issues similar to yours when I had a leak in my charge pipe.. To much air would end up killing the engine

That isn't something to 'not worry about.'

I swear there was an earlier issue with catless and JB4. Do a search for that.

I've been fine and so have many others. Catless and stock but with that said it could be something. Just seems if it was that big of a deal all of us wouldn't be fine

Common problem and not a problem are very different things...

I agree. All I'm saying is that no one has found a side affect from this yet. I'd be interested to know why it is since it seems that anyone I've talked to with a 2007+ e90 whether it's a 328,330, or 335 has noticed this mostly stock cars too

Have you had the software update that came out last Dec? That fixed 90% of my idle issues.
