Brakes squealing when cold
Now that the temperature has dropped I've noticed that my brakes squeal when coming to a stop. I'd say from 3 mph to a complete stop.
It seems to go away after driving for a bit and the brakes warm up but then will return the next day after sitting overnight. Has anyone else experienced this or should I take it in to get looked at? |

This is normal, generally cars with more aggressive pad compounds will make more noise the colder they get. If it goes away when warm and the car stops normally there are no issues.
I used to run track compound pads on my Corvette and if you drove it on the street when cold you sounded like a school bus coming to a stop.

Several other threads ongoing on this same complaint. My 228 Msport was squealing like a stuck when temp was 16 deg f this week but when it hit 60 yesterday no squeal at all. I have a appt next week for dealer to check it out but sounds like it's normal

Yup welcome to performance brakes. Same with any manufacturer.
