valentine one and blind spot detection system

Hey Guys,

looking to get the V1, but i am afraid that the blind spot system will make it go off like crazy. Anyone have any experience with this?

I borrowed my friend's V1 going up to Vegas last week and very minimal false alarms. Not sure how he set it up, and I have NO CLUE about these things. I just plugged it in and drove.

Yes, mine goes crazy; I read it is the K Band radar that is causing it so I turned off the rear K band detector in the V1, but that hasn't helped.

Those answering should mention if they have DAP. Usually its the side assists the give all the false alarms. OP I would opt against the V1, tech has come a long way since its been released and I dont think they've kept up.

You need to turn off POP detection. Check the V1 site on how to do this as I've lost the link, but it's very easy.

My M3 has all the driver assistance features. You just need to turn off Traffic Monitoring on the V1 and you are all good. Been using my V1 with my M3 since I got my car in August. No problem at all.

New version of the V1 software has traffic monitor filter that effectively kills these false alarms ("junk K fighter"). Does nothing though for all the road signs/traffic monitors operating on K band. Same problem with the escorts unless you use the GPS muting - however where I live the cops always set up a speed trap in the middle of these K-band traffic alert signs and are shooting a slightly different frequency than the sign - if I were using GPS filtering this would be a blind spot...but slow down there anyway.

same here. no issues at all and i have all the Driver asst features too. I have X & K band disabled on mine because of all the crap in my area to set it off so if you are getting a lot of false alerts that might be it as well.
