M performance exhaust vs AC Schnitzer?
Just got the M235i
This exhaust needs some sound, standard is too quiet... Im considering M Sport backbox or alt the Ac schnitzer Any input on these? I know quite a bit about the m sport but can't find much on the ACS... Thanks |

Really? I thought the one I test drove had a nice loud exhaust without being overly obnoxious. I would've liked to hear the turbo spool a bit louder though.
Scratch that, after listening to the AC S exhaust video that's sexy. |

Physically experienced both, the sound on both is comparative both giving an improvement over stock, quad tips on the AC nice! But maybe trying too hard to look like a full blown M car, But then you require there rear bumper/diffuser .
M performance bolts straight on, stump up for the Carbon Fibre tips which really do complete the look I did try to justify that the chrome ones were nice to save the cost, but the carbonfibre are so much nicer! Complete the exterior carbonfibre look and the substantial increased bore size coming out of the diffuser just looks right! IMHO and fills the cutout on the diffuser giving a more aggressive look. Insurance not an issue being BMW approved fit sealed it for me |

You need to do an intake, then you will hear the turbo a lot. I honestly think my BMS intake did more for the sound than the M Performance exhaust.
