Krown Rust Proofing

is it a good idea for our cars?
I only drive the car in the winter on nice dry days, but my car always gets covered in salt residue. I wash it at the end of every day I drive it at my local Touchless car wash(season pass is a great deal).

am I being paranoid or should I do it if I want to keep it for a extended time.

Only rust issues I have hear of recently were f30s. Under the seats you could see and feel rust spots on the seat frames.

It's a car, it's a car, it's a car. Drive it and enjoy it. Even though it is awesome this car will not be a million dollar museum centerpiece. If the underside of the mostly aluminum undercarriage rusts I will be pretty surprised.

E92 driven year round for 4.5 years. Not a single bit of rust. I wouldn't worry. I also wouldn't wash the car every day like others suggested. Put a good layer of wax on the car, especially for the side of the car in winter, and sky-facing surfaces for the summer. Then you are fine. Of the 4.5 years I owned by E92, it always has a layer of wax on it that's less than 2 months old. When it was sold, the buyer thought I didn't drive in winter!

oh and forgot to mention, don't use Krown. There is a chance that it'll damage rubber bushings or any rubber based parts in the undercarriage.
