Painting wheel hubs

Thinking of painting it in BLACK.

Would like to listen to other ppl's thoughts on it...

Which bit is that mate, is is the hub inside the alloy, that we've seen rust on other cars? I'd think it was a good idea. I#ve seen people use a dark gray Hammerite and it work well!

Yea, the hubs which is prone to rust as it's iron cast.

Pointless have clear paint as the heat of the brakes will go thru them eventually.

Best thing to do is to paint the black, 'cos of the brake dust.

Alternatively, is to remove wheel by wheel annually to wire brush 'em...

Yes I'd say for for it with the black, if you do post a few before and after pics if you have a moment..

Are you referring to the hub at the centre of the brake disc? If so this carrier is reported to be aluminium:
