Update with connectedDrive

Has anyone tried to run the update from March 2014 UPD05062, (MN-2.255.60, TN-2.255.62)
(MN-2.39.60, TN-2.39.62) from our vehicle vins, http://www.bmw.com/com/en/owners/con...re_update.html

When I put in my last 7 vin #, it shows an update that is newer than what is on my car's connectedDrive software info. But once I tried to install it, the car gave a message "not compatible". Maybe there's something I'm missing here or just don't have the answer to yet.
If so can someone break it down for me; I've never tried to update any of my bmw car's over the years, so this is new info for me.

Did a few updates on my f10 and it didn't come up w any error messages. Some took longer than others to complete but they all went through. Someone just posted in one of the iPhone threads that they did a current update and said that it fixed some of the lag issues regarding the song titles.

Mine shipped with (MN-2.043.23, TN-2.043.23) which seems newer than this update. I suspect this is why it doesn't work.

Any idea if there are any new updates. Tried to install UPD05062 but when I plug it in the cars USB port it says no update available

I just updated mine (January 2015 build). I believe I also had MN-2.043.23 installed, but I am not 100% sure.

If you used a Mac to copy the update file to the USB key, the issue might be with the invisible .DS_Store files and AppleDouble files that are added by the Mac OS. I run into this issue when installing the 2015-2 map update.
