chassis stabilization malfunction
I just got my car back on tuesday. This error was thrown when i started my car in my garage about 3 weeks ago. It took them that long to get me in for service but in their defense i requested they come and get the car and leave me with a loaner. I am glad i did because they had it from friday to tuesday.
I received the car back tuesday and was told it was a software update. The car was fine until tonight (thursday), the error is back. Both times i have encountered the issue it has been a result of a startup. The error does not present itself initially when i am driving the car. It also does not clear on its own as some other threads have suggested. I am unable to shift it into sport or sport+. I should mention i drive the car exclusively in sport+ manual mode and to be fair if i am accelerating at all its probably floored, but i really cant accept im driving a 63,000 car too hard. I am guessing the next trip in they will say it is a sensor. I know they stated it was specifically identifying the transaxle last time and that there was a TSB for a software update. My hope is it is infact the sensor, the dealership is over an hour away and this is already getting old. Its a 2014 435ix with 4000 miles on it. Just curious what you guys think i should do. I dont mind letting them try but i dont want to take this back for a 3rd time. At what point is requesting a new dme and transaxle not out of line? |

Its probably a Yaw sensor. Seen that happen a few times.
Requesting a DME is pointless. If a sensor is bad a new computer isn't gonna fix it. |
