Anyone color match their exterior trim?

I'm painting a bumper this weekend and I have OEM Monaco Blue paint. I've always hated my aluminum trim and want to shadowline/vinyl it but I was wondering if anyone has colormatched the trim to the car or if it would look stupid

I could imagine it to look slick. If you want you can send me a good pic of your ride and I'll tint them in photoshop for you as a preview.

I think so too, it blends in very well. Especially since you also have a dark grill. If you do the job, post some shots!

Wow, nice job!

And your ride was watching you all the time, looking forward to get fixed up again. What kind of bumper is that? If I wouldn't know better I would have said it's from an E92. Pics when mounted pls.

Thanks man. Turned out better than I hoped being my first time painting. It's an M3 rep from eBay. I'll post pics tomorrow once installed

Looks great from what I can recognize on the pic! Shadow is kinda hiding the details.
