anyone know where to find electronic valve controlled exhaust?

im looking for an exhaust that has the valve control so i can adjust the noise level hopefully from normal to straight pipe. If anyone knows where to find one please link it! I know the e46 m3 has one but it's an x-pipe so not sure how it would work for e90

I am actually looking into something very similar right now.

Look into QTP Electric Cutouts. Most people wire them to be controlled by a toggle inside the car.

All you need to know is the pipe size.

The other options just cater to low profile, turn downs, or electronic openers pretty much.

They are for different exhaust diameters, unfortunately I do not know much more than you do. I started looking into them this morning haha.

You should have no problem finding a shop in San Antonio who could sit down with you and work it out. Join the Eurotic group on Facebook if you aren't already.

Glad to hear it man, you have to post it up when you get it done and tell me where. I might drive down to check it out.

I just ordered my catless dps a few minutes ago so I will probably check the sound after that and decide.

I was also looking at the QTP, but was put off by the fact a fair few have had issues and our Great British roads are quite harsh of a winter.

Has anyone found something more robust? For example, has anyone tried the Varex Twin in Twin out 3" Diameter:

http://www.xforce.com.au/xforce-prod...-300/cid-/vid-

Looks quite good to me, i know there is a section on the 335i where the two pipe conjoin under the car, maybe replace that with this?

Cheers

I had a Varex on a previous car ( Subaru STI ) and it s an awesome product.
I have very though condition ( winter at - 30cº) and it worked flawlessly for 2 years. Then i sold the car.

Figure out how to pass emissions yet? I really don't want to unbolt and bolt it back on.

Video of the new electronic cutouts?

I think iPe has an exhaust system that has electronic valve control. I know it's really expensive though.
