Anyone else got the friends and family discount at a BMW Dealership? I recently found out my boy's big bro works at Rallye BMW as head of sales. He said I get 20% off in the parts department. Looks like I'll be getting my OEM Performance exhaust there as my first purchase.

If so, what have you guys made useful with the discount?

LMAO but seriously the parts guy always ends up giving me pretty good discounts, I'm not sure why. I normally look homeless when I go there in the morning right after waking up. More than 20% most of the time, the other dealer doesn't do this but their prices are almost as low as the discounted price I get from Alexandria.

I knew someone would try to correct the lingo. Sall good, being raised in Jamaica queens gives you all types of slang and all that and It is what it is. I could say " my friends big brother" but why switch it up? You obviously knew what I was implying. I'm sure we all have our own unique lingo, so man up and deal with it lol

Of course i didn't know what you were saying, most people in your daily life probably nod their head and have no clue what you are saying either. You made a thread talking about family discounts and then talked about "your boy" and all that. Seems like with the thread title about family that you would have been referring to your sons, not some "boys from da hood".

For instance if I made a thread title about how my puppies love riding in the car, and then inside the thread I start talking about how my "dog" was working on my car, a normal person would still think I was still talking about my animals, not about my "home dog".

So long story short, as far as this manning up business you were mumbling about while talking gibberish, the best thing you can do as a man, is to learn to speak like one. Say what you mean, and mean what you say... that is manning up. Gibberish will only get you so far, it's actually a step backwards from manning up, it's in the direction of diapers and baby bottles, your "lingo" sounds more like googoo gaga baby talk than the manning up thing you think you have achieved. lol.

Bro's and all aside, my dealership has applied a permanent 10% discount on all OEM parts for me as I've been a somewhat regular customer of the parts department. It's not a lot but whatever.
