TPMS Compatability

Will the TPMS from a set of BMW OEM 413M wheels, that were installed on a 2012 335i be compatible with a 2015 428xi GC?

Looking to trade some wheels and want to make sure there is compatibility.
Thanks in advance,

James.

I just looked at a set of 413 wheels from a 2012 car and the TPMS doesn't work with our 2015 4-series Gran Coupe. BWM apparently went with new sensors in March 2014, so check your build date on your 428i GC. My 435i GC has the new sensors so I didn't buy the wheels.

No, TPMS
Changed after 3/14

Now its a continental Vdo TPMS sensor

Prior to that was a HUF beru TPMS

Again after 3/14 changes to Vdo sensor

Thanks for the feedback. In full disclosure, I am the one selling the wheels and I have had a number of questions about compatibility, so thought I would ask here.

My post could be read either way, so sorry for that.

VDO sensors used on cars produced 3/2014 and on. Your 2012 wheels will have the HUF sensor and they are not cross compatible.

I'm actually looking for a set of TPMS for my '15 GC, for a set of wheels I just purchased here on the forum and received yesterday (BMW 361 style - beautiful wheel setup, but this set has the older style installed) - anyone happen to know the part number for the new ones, and best (least expensive) place to source?

Thanks, I actually just got off the phone with TireRack, they do have them in stock and I went ahead and grabbed a set - but they were not $235 - they are $80 ea, but shipped free - $320 all in and I'll have 'em tomorrow. Bit more than I was hoping to spend, but oh well, is what it is

BMW OEM part # is 36106856209 for GC's built since March 2014 per realoem.com

I've been looking for 19" wheels myself and this is the part # for my 2015 435i GC
