Debadged and now residue

Used Goo is Gone but there is still a faint outline of the 335i.

I have both rubbing compound and cleaner wax, which is better to completely remove any evidence of the emblem?

You probably dont need something as harsh as rubbing compound, it'll leave a haze that will need to be polished out by something finer. Start with the cleaner wax, but what you probably want is a polishing compound.

Thanks, it's polishing compound I have so I'll lightly hit it with that.

Clay bar might help too...worst case a wet sand perhaps?

1. Goo Gone / Mircofiber
2. Clay Bar
3. Wash/Polish/Wax

Getting it exposed to the sunlight can help a little too... since the paint under the badging has never seen UV rays before and it isn't as "faded" as the rest of the car... not that our cars paint fades much or anything, but obviously is wear and tear as the cars age.
