Akebono brake pads UK alternative

Hello guys, going to change my brake discs and will be trying M-tec grooved and dimpled discs.

I have Akebono pads which still have life on them and although they say you should change pads when you change your discs, I really do not want too!! theirs nothing wrong with my pads.

Anyway just incase as a back up, are their any pads which are like the Ake's dust free, but Available in the UK rather then having to bring from abroad.

no need to change pads if theres life left in them, just sand them flat with some emery/sandpaper. Changed my discs the other day and did this..after bedding in no problems at all.

Id be interested know if you have the same problems I had with Mtec grooved and dimpled - namely really annoying loud hum on braking. Had Brembo HP2000 pads. Tried all sorts to cure it with no success. Gone back to standard disks with Tarox pads - problem solved and have no complaints about the braking performance.
