How to clear 'Drivetrain: Check Soon' error
Post coding an F82 I have a 'Drivetrain: Check Soon' error (car seems to function normally). How can I clear the error? I've tried the ToolSet 32/F01 program method with no joy. Any thoughts?

How do you know it isn't an actual problem with the car and coincidental to the coding? There could be an issue and the car would still behave normally... if it were me, I wouldn't clear it until I had it checked out. It would be bad to inadvertently do a bunch of damage to the car by ignoring the warning because you thought the error message was from coding but, in fact, wasn't.

One such piece of advice I could minimize but with two I guess I better take it in and have it looked at. Thanks for the input.
Now, out of curiosity, thoughts on why the F01 program wouldn't have cleared this fault?
