Does anyone know where I can get an OEM Carbon Fiber front Ashtray cover? I've looked everywhere online and haven't been able to find one by itself. I have a OEM center console trim and it didn't come with the ashtray cover. If anyone can chime in and help me out, it would be greatly appreciated.

That ashtray cover is for the 1 series, not for the 3 series thanks though

Do you have the ashtray with cover already and just need the trim piece? My car came with the open rectangular compartment and I wanted to swap it for the covered glasses container. I bought the covered container from ECS Tuning (thought I saw the CF trim piece for sale there too) and found the wood trim piece for it on ebay. Actually had to buy the whole ashtray with trim, removed the wood trim piece, and put it on the part I bought from ECS. It was a hassle but it worked. For the wood trim BMW does not sell just that one trim piece, you have to buy the whole center console trim kit ro get that one piece. Not sure if it is the same for the CF trim.

Yeah I think it is the same... I got the center console for a steal and was thinking that I could get the ashtray trim separately. Hopefully something comes up.

You can't buy the CF Front Ashtray Cover by itself (unless you find someone selling only that part).

Or you could send any ashtray cover in to forum member Andy (roll_the_dice), and he will custom wrap in real CF/clearcoat - his work/quality is excellent & it will look every bit as good as OEM.

I've had several OEM parts done by him, & plan to do a lot more soon - just contact him thru PM on the forum...


Been there, done that, in my case I also found a great deal on OEM CF Console Trim, but no ashtray cover - thought it would be no problem

Ended up I installed the Dynavin N6 radio, which needed me to relocate my heated seat buttons to ashtray area.

Don't use the ashtray anyway, so bought the Metra Heated Seat Button Relo Kit to replace the ashtray - so I no longer need an ashtray cover now
