I own a MW M4. I did not choose the color as it was the only 6mt I could find close by but I think it looks great. I also have the IND reflectors and it is pretty close match.

thats good to know, i also didnt choose MW as my first choice but due to the cfrp rood delay, my ca suggested that i take one already in production, so MW was the next closest thing to alpine white.

I have it. I like it, it looks great... That said, if I had to choose again between MW and AW, I'd probably get AW. They are close enough that the constant worrying about matching the paint (in case of an accident) is not worth difference in color depth. I kept my IND reflectors, but if someone ever makes a clear reflector, I might go for that.

If I get MW, I will just keep the amber. A 90% match is sometimes the worst match because it draws the eye and just looks off. That's why they always blend paint extending past the damage on auto repairs.

Both my e93 and F02 are mineral white. The two paint shops that I've worked with have done a pretty good job of matching paint. However, touch-up paint does not work well on MW. That said, I had a 335i in AW and like MW better, overall.

I know what you're saying, but IMHO a 100% match is better than a 90% match, which is better than bright bloody orange

My original order was alpine white. Previous e90 was also alpine white. At the time my buddy's e92 m3 was mineral white. Never really wow me with the mineral on the e92. After weeks of delay I stumbled onto a loaded mineral white m4. My buddy with the e92 kept pushing me to go for it! Seriously it's a beautiful color, I just don't like the fact that little things like front lip/reflectors will NEVER match 100%. Also if I ever have to repaint a panel, it will take a lot of blending throughout the car. But after owning it. I'm extremely happy I went with mineral white over alpine. I don't think I would be as happy with the alpine white. The way the car glows on certain angle is just beautiful! Don't worry about the little things like ind reflectors. I installed mine over the weekend, I bought a set even knowing it wasn't going to be 100% match. It's definitely better than the oem Amber. Go for it!!! I never thought I'd like it this much, but I'm extremely happy after all. Good luck

For the reflectors, I went with gloss black on my 335is. The offset looks good imo. The off-color white looked really bad. Paint isn't delicate at all on my 3er, unless it's different on the new f series.
I'm going mineral gray not because I dont like my MW, I just wanted something new and personally didn't think the white looked as good on the sedan

Mineral White M4 convertible owner. My shop had no issue matching the Mineral White color on the M3 Lip Spoiler I installed.
Not sure what the deal is with the color matching of the IND reflector tabs. I have seen many pix and agree they don't look like 100% match. I wonder if it is the size of the element itself that causes issues. I have amber reflectors and enjoy them as such. I can't say with 100% certainty whether my shop would do a better job than IND at color matching. I have purchased items from IND, just not the reflector replacement pieces, and have had great service. I gave them first crack at doing the spoiler piece in MW, and they respectfully declined due to color matching issues. I was fine with that. Here is a shot of M4 rear with M3 lip spoiler installed. |

I've owned MW. As others have mentioned, it's hard to match on parts like the reflectors. But as for chips, I used Dr. Colorchip and it's 100% match

I have a MW M3. I was toying between SO and MW and ultimately decided with MW. I really like the color on the M3. Shows the lines of really well. In the right light it gives the car almost a satin look.
But as others have stated, the reflectors are not a 100% match as it is quite hard to match MW as it is a 3 layer paint. However, it is pretty darn close and looks a heck of a lot better than the orange reflectors. Most people will not even be able to tell the difference.
