F8x not consume oil as quickly as E9x?

I have 9,000 miles on my F80. Got the oil changed at the 1200 mile service - due for next change very soon.

My oil level has stayed at "OK" the entire time - have never had to add extra quart. On my E93, I was adding a quart every 6-7,000 miles...

What is everyone else' experience here?

This sounds like a good thing...

I know the VAG turbo cars eat up oil like you're saying the E92 does.

My E92 drank oil and I always had extra on hand for this reason. My F82 hasn't needed any extra so far (6,500 miles and 2 track days).

I concur. My E60 M5 used oil like mad, whereas my M4 has not used any yet even after a bunch of track days. S65 and S85 much higher revving engines the reason?

Not really that much of a difference in RPM, honestly.

I bet once the turbos start to wear out in higher mileage, you will see some oil consumption.

I got the 1200 mile service done and since then I have put on an additional 3,000 miles. I checked the oil level today as a matter of fact and I am where I was at 1200 miles.
