Anyone put a hitch on their X4? Or have some pics to share?

I'd love to see if anyone put a hitch of their X4.

I have a hitch - but it`s the factory option, which is electrically operated and hidden when not in use.
Unfortunately that prevents me from installing an aftermarket dual (left/right) exhaust.

Thank you! They don't have that version in US.

Crazy! itīs a very neat design.

Are you still allowed to install a temporary hitch with a U-beam and chains? I realise that vehicles with bumpers that will allow this is becaming scarse.

I assume you can install a hitch without ball. Which is what I'd need for a bike carrier.

Same thing with 2012 X3 didnt have a hitch option from BMW for a while and when they did it was a manual one that can be taken on and off. Expecting the same for my X4

Here's a video I made a couple of yrs ago of the electric folding tow hitch:
(The video shows it on a F10 but it operates in exactly the same way on my X4.)

Here's a link to the OEM tow hitch for the US market:

In Sweden, the maximum allowed trailer/towing weight for an X4 (20d or 28i) is 2 400kg (which translates into about 5 290 pounds).
