Turns out this deal has not been very easy going for me. I received the headlights today but unlike the "like new" condition that the OP claimed, one headlight has broken tab and the other has white like spray paint particles on the lens. Still trying to work with the seller. This is really sad.

Hope you have paypal coverage. Hope you saw photos of the headlights before buying. The tab may have broken in shipping if poorly packaged. The "white" looks like standard rock chips on the lens which can be polished out.

The shipping box looked clean. I see nicks under the broken tab which means it was already broken before shipment.
Its not rock chips. Its paint. The picture is not very clear as i took it qt an angle.

The OP said the lights are new condition 100%. My 6yt old headlights currently on the car look 100 times cleaner than this one. Lets see. Still waiting for the sellers reply.

I am not worried abt recovering the money as i paid using my credit card through paypal. So i am covered. Just want to resolve this amicably.

60 emails so far and still no resolution. He expects me to keep the headlights and fix them myself or ship it back at my expense. Or he is offering me $40 refund when i paid $463 thinking these were good headlights. This is not going very well here, is it?

Definitely go through PayPal if you didn't send it as a gift.

What's the big deal? It's a broken tab that was probably damaged in shipping. I offered him money to get the tab fixed and at the same time he can probably get the 'paint' off. It's not like the headlights are broken.

These were my girlfriends headlights.. She had moved to another house. I'm offering a refund but I'm not paying another 80$ for shipping.

Dude the big deal is that u lied. U sold me headlights that are not what ur add says. I paid so mich money thinking they are "clean" and like new. Now u r claiming they were damaged in shipping. Anyway, i am not paying for ur mistake.

Look at those pics again for marks under the broken tab. U prolly broke them while taking off the car. Shipping box looks clean and i dont see a single mark on ot.

You need to relax , the headlights are not 'stupid' or 'broken' they are perfectly fine. ITs a 50$ repair lol. You got these for 450 I think if you down another 50$ it's better than buying new ones at 900$

Shady sellers like you should be banned from the forums. You sell headlights that are not what you posted on the OP. And on top of that you rant that the buyer should fix it. Read every response from other members on this thread. What does that tell you?
