Purchasing the HFS-4 soon while running a Cobb AP and was just checking to see what my options were. Now I'd like to run regular -20 washer fluid, checked the MSDS on Xtreme -20 Blue Washerfluid and it has a 35% meth ratio.
Do you think that would be good enough? And if not what else could I use to atleast make a 50/50 mix. I heard of Heet and to add 4 12oz bottles to a 1 gallon of washer fluid to reach my desired of 50/50. With either mixes of 35/65 or 50/50 do you guys think I'd need to get a protune, or that's just optional to get the most out of the HFS-4. Also maybe how the install was, if it was difficult at all or any unfortunate surprises. Just want to see what my options are!

I appreciate it guys.

Aquamist kits specifically state to only use mixes of distilled water and pure methanol. Hydrocarbons in washer fluid and other less clean blends will damage components in the kits and shouldn't be used. To extract the most power out of your injection kit you should get a custom tune but if you're spraying only to control IATs then a custom tune won't be necessary.

We're an authorized Aquamist dealer and have tuned with it exclusively for years on this platform. Let us know if any questions at all.

Any aftermarket charge pipe can be tapped with an M8 tapping tool to accept a nozzle holder into which a nozzle is inserted. No special charge pipe is required but you shouldn't tap into the OEM plastic one.

At this time we don't carry any charge pipes unfortunately but get in touch with Mike@N54Tuning.com . He should have them available at possibly the best price on these forums.

+1 for Mike @ N54. I picked up my ER CP from him - super fast shipping and fast response time.

Jake's actually with another company called Motiv since around October last year.

ER charge pipe typically comes with bungs that have a slight taper to accept a different type of nozzle. You can easily just take an M8 tapping tool and retap it to accept an Aquamist nozzle, really easy.
