Possible to modify 428i exhaust to dual pipe?
Instead of getting a 335/435 exhaust, I was wondering if one of the twin pipes could be cut off and welded on to the right side of muffler so I can get the 435 M Performance diffuser.

Yes it is! I did it on mine, but you do not just throw another pipe on the other side, you buy the 35i muffler.
Right now I have the stock 35i diffusor but my M Performance diffusor is coming tomorrow!! Check my build thread for updates, I should have the diffusor on this weekend. http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1090357

It can be done but it has to be done properly or else it will not sound or look good.
It might be a better choice to get a quad remus 328 exhaust and a nice quad diffuser.
