Exclamation Having Trouble Installing my JB4 please see Pic

I'm having trouble installing my JB4 I tried to do the install but the car doesn't start and when it starts it has some issues with it like a rough idle and all these weird noises when the key FOB is in before starting. I think my connections are wrong can someone please help me with the proper connections? I used the Burger video guide and pdf guide but I think the connections are wrong. BTW this tune was on the car before and worked with no issues. I had to remove it since the car was going in for service and now I can't but it back in. Also the car runs fine when stock. I think my connections are wrong.

Go re-install it, and then take a pic of the install. You're letting the DME goto sleep before wiring it up correct? 10 minutes with no doors open, and not touching the fob buttons. If you have CA make sure the fob is out of range. It appears to have a DPFix in place also, make sure it hasn't been adjusted too high or something.

You can also email BMS support the install pictures and they'll tell you if anything is wrong.

Looks like a JB4 lol, idk what module since it's not in the picture, but there's a DPFix on there so I'd assume it's installed properly. You bought this used I assume right? Make sure all the pins in the connectors are straight and not bent/broken.

Also reset all adaptions, see the FAQ at N54Tech. Make sure that thing wasn't dialed in for someone else's setup. Make sure everything is set to the defaults via the JB4 laptop interface.

ok I will re-try the install later tonight and send you a few pics. The tune worked on the car for about 5 months so I made it to my likings so I know it works

All the black wires go to larger su connectors with arrows pointing forward and all the red wires go to smaller sub connector with the arrows pointing forward?

I installed mine once, and haven't had to touch it since so I honestly don't have the answer. The PDF on burger goes into more detail on what goes where. Just go for the re-install, and send pictures to BMS if you're still unsure. Most important thing is to set everything to default via the interface, which can be done without starting the car, just switch ignition to ON then hookup laptop.
