Hi guys. I recently hit 53k miles got my e90 335i with 48k miles.

How many miles till I change my oil?

Can I go to any mechanic get oil change, and get a receipt to not void warranty?

You can get a monkey to do your oil change. You should change your oil every 5-7k miles or so depending on your driving habits. Call the dealer and ask when the last oil change was done. You won't void your warranty by doing your own oil change or having a mechanic do it. You can also ask the dealer if they have any oil change specials going on; nice time out of ten they will.

The only thing the dealer can give you a hard time about if he wanted to when it comes to engine related warranty work is the JB4 and DCI.
