OK, so I got the VIN finally (have been waiting since 8th, December). But using bmwvin.com decoder, I can see some discrepancies with options I ordered

1. I ordered option 760 "high gloss black exterior window frame", but the decoder says:
760 INDIVIDUAL HIGH-GLOSS SATIN CHROME

So the option No. is ok, but clearly it's not going to be black but satin chrome in color - how is it possible? Which option number is black?

2. I ordered option 4AD polished aluminium interior trim (not hexagon) with option 4DL - black high gloss accent strip. but the decoder says:
4FT I.T.F. ALUMINIUM F.B.L. M. W.H.T.F.

Could someone help me interpret those option properly? The names of options I ordered were Polish, while bmwvin.com of course output everything in English, hence my confusion... So;

- which external trim I'm gonna get: silver or black?
- is my accent strip inside going to be black (as ordered), aluminum or blue?

If it's blue, I'm not going to accept the car I waited for so long

4FT is the brushed aluminum trim with the gloss black strip on the bottom edge. BMW changed it from 4AD to 4FT during mid production year. I am 100% sure on this.

I can't speak for the exterior trim code question.

Fortunately, my SA took care of that and - using some internal BMW VIN decoder/configurator, found out that everything is going to be just like ordered. You're right about the mid-year change to internal dashboard options, though - but anyway it's gonna be brushed alu with gloss black edge.

So some 2 weeks more and I'm gonna collect it!
