Are There Any TSB's?

Planning to go in for first maintenance, and trying to gauge how much time it will take. Are there any TSB's that will have to be addressed that will make this take longer than usual for routine maintenance?

Thanks.

NHTSA still showing no TSB's, 1 recall for fuel pump and 1 complaint. Seems weird no TSB's, is the quality just that good? 1 year and no issues or complaints for me.

lol, this seems to good to be true. Interestingly the 2015 model is not configurable and made me wonder if their site is not up-to-date, or, just nothing to report for that model year.

M235i has certainly ranked high in some of the quality rankings and this data seems to back that ranking up.

Confirmed there is nothing to report on the m235i, other models not so lucky. 5 TSB's for the 2014 435i and same fuel pump recall. No TSB's but two recalls for 2015 435i vs the 1 recall for 2014 435i.

There are TSBs...you need to check the TIS:
https://www.bmwtis.com/

For example:
http://www.2addicts.com/forums/showp...14&postcount=7

The NHTSA site will only have TSBs which are related to recalls.

Is your vehicle equipped with a N63/S63 Engine?
- If not, your Probably safe on not having TSB's.
Is your vehicle a G11/G12?
- if not then nothing to worry as the G11/G12 has like 12 new recalls or something last time i remember.

Sorry, Wierd Dealer/technican humor :P

I stopped at the dealer today to check on the potential recall for the gauge cluster. BMW is in the process of rewriting the cluster's code and a recall won't be set up until the code is ready for install. In the meantime, BMW dealers can't delivery certain 230i or the M240i cars because of this issue as BMW AG/NA have issued a StopCode on deliveries.

Update: the software is at the dealer. My car will be updated on Friday, the day after Thanksgiving.

Is that for the N26,N20 engine or both? I haven't received a notice on my N20.

I have n20. it was an early '15 build so I'm assuming that's why. I had read somewhere that they resolved the issue for later model year cars.

My N20 is a 2/2015 build date. Sort of a middling date. Thanks.

Just in-case any Canadian members are reading - the Timing chain warranty extension is only applicable to the USA market.

We received a notice yesterday about the possible corrosion of the connecting screws between the steering gear & power pack on our 2015 228i. "To ensure that your vehicle is in proper working order, the steering gear will be re-worked."

I've read about the issue on the F3xs earlier this year, but haven't seen mention for the F2xs. Going in Monday for the remedy.

You should ask yourself "what problems am I having with my car" not "what tsb numbers are out there so I can make fake claims to try to get parts changed for free". Different cars/vins can have updated parts or not. So what I'm saying is you can make yourself look silly if you're quoting a tsb that has nothing to do with your car.
