I am willing to pay a $5,750.00 incentive for this car if you take over the lease.

BMW Financial will ONLY allow a 3rd party to take over the lease, but NOT buyout the vehicle. In order to sell the vehicle, I would need to first buy it from BMW and then resell it to you. I don't want to go through the hassle of a double transaction at this time.

If you are interested in buying the vehicle, you may take over the lease. Immediately upon lease assumption you may exercise your right to purchase the vehicle from BMW.

Heck of deal...and if you want to buy, why not just take over the lease and his nice incentive, then buy it out yourself?

This is probably being asked a lot, but for lease takeover, should I apply the credit from the BMW Center same as the original leaser online to see where I stand?
https://creditapp.bmwusa.com/Apply

I just don't want to get into the negotiation with seller and in the end the BMW Financial refuses to let me takeover the current lease. Want some prep works done before even considering do it. Any suggestions?

BMW FS will require a $500 lease application/transfer fee. $100 of that fee is non-refundable and will be used for a credit check. If you fail the credit check, BMW FS will refund you the remainder.

I'm not sure if BMW FS will do a free credit check/pre-qualification but you should call them and ask. Another route is to have a dealer screen you for leasing an M3.

Thanks for the reply. I will wait for my turn to resume your takeover if the previous ones didn't go through. I guess I will need some info directly from you through BMWFS, right? (Finger crossed)

Don't run your credit anywhere until the seller initiates the process through BMW FS.

After he initiates it, BMW FS will send you a link where it'll direct you to their online app. It'll collect the fee and run your credit do to see if you quality. it's a pretty painless process assuming you qualify
