Do you have a charge pipe and forge dv? Also what are menu settings 10,11,12 on your jb4. I'm surprised that your car performed like that since you have FMIC and DPs. I have JB4 G5 ISO,Cobb chargepipe, and forge DV when I raced A M6 and M5 from the roll i pulled off for a good strech they eventually caught up.I have a 09 335i x drive 6AT. Before you make the jump to meth,I say check those menus settings first. Also when I had the DCI the car didn't peform better then the stock intake box.

look theres alot you could do to beat it out on a pull like that but a lot of times the bigger motor wins in the long run in terms of speed

Dont forget he have 507 hp( I dont know if muffler delete give hp? lol)
From first gear I have a advantage
And I run only 91oct on map 5, around 13,5-14 psi
This is why I need better fuel
