My wastegate rattle is getting worse and worse

Wouldn't leaking vacuum lines throw a code ? Should I just replace all the lines anyway ?

My cars an 07 went into service January 4th. The turbo recall is officially dead on mine. I feel like that's why the previous owner traded it in, I got a good deal for it back in January, and everything feels solid, so I hope my wastegates don't decided to give out anytime soon. From all the service's I see though the turbos were never replaced.

When does the warranty officially expire? My car is an 04/07 build and tomorrow is April 1. Does the warranty go down to the exact day the car was built or just the beginning of the month?

The wastegate rattle is getting bad so I want to have it looked at.

Ah, ok. So would that be the day it arrived in the US?

I just found out I have the same issue. And mine is 08 but they are saying warranty ends on June. Vacuum lines scares me but still better than paying for the whole thing

What's your build date? It's 8yrs/82k last I remember.

Yep, 8yrs/82k.
I'm in a similar situation... about to bring mine in for a walnut blast but I'm also going to have them check out the turbos & HPFP.

My wastegate rattle has gotten noticeably worse since I bought it in November @ 87k miles, and I've also had some rough idling, long cranks & possible misfires (no engine warnings but I'm still waiting on my cable to check for any thrown codes). I think the previous owner ditched it due to being out-of-warranty, as the car itself is otherwise in excellent condition.

Thankfully I bought an aftermarket Route66 warranty in case the turbos needed to be replaced (although HPFP is covered until something like 120k miles, if I remember correctly...?). If I don't end up with new turbos, there's no doubt that I'm going to replace my vacuum lines (actually I may even do it with new turbos given that the OEM lines suck... there's a thread on this tubing somewhere but I'm too lazy to look it up, sorry: http://www.verociousmotorsports.com/...ld-by-the-Foot)

Currently waiting on JB4, DCI, PCV, modified clutch valve, & random other goodies so I need to get this all resolved ASAP haha
