odd thing today speedo stuck at 20mph help?

speedo stuck at 20 abs failure light and runflat signs lit up.. stopped started engine lights came up then went off. car ok all day then in evening speedo stuck at 20 again no lights but felt like cruise was active stopped started car again and all well. sounds like a wheel sensor perhaps?

or abs pump/hydro unit failure. You'll have a better idea once you get the codes read.

Do you mean you can't drive faster than 20mph or whatever speed you drive the speedo shows 20mph? If the first, it sounds like it's in limp mode.

its just speedo but today cruise control was engaging on its own and accelerating the car going in tomorrow to have codes read. damned annoying car is just over three years old and 25000 miles. e93 I had also had all this. beginning to doubt my loyalty to bmw

it was the drivers rear wheel sensor. not too drastic but a bummer to spend £120 on a 25000 mile car 3 months out of warranty

could be something as simple as low voltage problem free easy check the battery and alternator voltage.
