Dodgy Windows?

Picked up my new F30 on Tuesday and twice I've gone back to it and the front windows have been down an inch!

Is this some sort of problem or is there some sort of supposedly clever feature which drops them when you approach to intentionally try and cool the car down?

If it's not a feature then I'm pretty annoyed and this could put me at risk of someone managing to break in

Not a feature no. Could you have accidentally have depressed the open button in your pocket? This could unlock them begin to open the windows.

It is also quite easy to catch window buttons when getting out of car.

Is this an automatic feature, i.e. when i press unlock or open boot they drop to cool the car? I've discovered that if i hold the unlock button down then they drop down so maybe it was that? - I hope so!

Yeah only if you hold unlock. Eventually it does the sunroof too if you have that.
