I have a nitrous kit at home not being used, i was thinking about maybe putting it to use. I am currently FBO + METH - IC and i am in Florida where 90 degree temp's are pretty common. I notice on hot days the car losses a nice amount of power and I am planning on getting an intercooler soon but will spraying the stock IC help?

It will help on a single pull but likely not worth the cost of nitrous, $55-60 for 10lbs.

With that much money on juice you mine as well just get a proper intercooler and reap the benefits all the time.

I had an IC sprayer on a previous car. It does help, but the cost gets prohibitive. At least when you spray nitrous into the engine, it adds power. When you spray the IC, it's very wasteful since your power gains are just from cooling the air. It's a really expensive way to do it. I only used it a couple of times and then just left it on the car to look pretty. I only had it because the car was sponsored by NX at the time.

Just get the IC, or just use the nitrous kit as a nitrous kit and spray into the engine. A small shot isn't going to blow anything up and it would be a better use of it.

Honestly, I rather see someone just use some water with a splash of Meth to cool IAT.

At least Meth will bump up the octane and cool IAT.

Nitrous does cool substantially more but it comes at the cost of higher EGT and isn't a fuel like meth.

Methanol/Water especially a low doses is cheaper to run too.

Pros and Cons to everything of course.

You are right, I missed he had Meth.

OP sell kit and get an intercooler, should be all you need.
