TPMS Fault
Put my 19s back on today. Which was a pain in itself requiring a breaker bar as the nuts had been done up WAAAAAAAY too tight by the tyre place, really pee's me off this does
Then when I'd got them all on I set the tpms to reset, drove for 15 miles, the last 5 or so showing 99% then just dropped out to "Tyre pressure monitoring active" but there's no pressures showing against the wheels in iDrive. Tried to reset it another 4 times but it doesn't want to know, gets to about 30% then just drops to "Tyre pressure monitoring active" with no pressures displayed. It also won't allow me to turn tpms off in vehicle info in iDrive, stays ticked the whole time, is that normal too? Please tell me I'm being stupid and haven't done something, before a trip to the dealer...... |

i can’t help i’m afraid... it doesn’t sound right.
i put my summer 19” wheels on on Friday and the TPMS re-initialised OK - no issues / faults and it is reading tyre pressure & temps as normal. |

Yeah the winters have their own separate tpms sensors, they recalibrated fine. Software was updated when the ppk was fitted, not sure I'd even looked there to know if it was showing before (after the sw).
They are all showing green Ralphy, cheers, I'll give it a little while longer...... |
