Value My Car
I am wanting to sell my 335d xDrive and want to know what people would value my car at. I have 11,200 miles on the clock and BMW have offered me 32k, but looking through Autotrader I think I can get about 37. The spec of the car is as follows:
Colour - Estoril Blue Wheels - 20" M performance Wheels Leather - Individual Opal White Leather Trim - Individual Piano Black Packages: - Advanced Parking - Interior Comfort Package - M Sport Plus Package - Media Package Professional Optional Equipment: - HUD - Folding Mirrors - Heated Wheel - Electric Front Seats - Lumbar Support - Seat Heating Front - Seat Heating Rear I also Purchased the M Performance Kit: - Front Splitter (Body Colour) - Gloss Black Grill - Side Vinyl + Lip (Body Colour) - Rear Spoiler (Body Colour) - Rear Diffuser (Gloss Black) - M Performance Pedals I have also got the 19" M403 wheels with winter tyres which I wouldn't mind getting rid off plus the summer tyres sitting in my garage if anyone is also interested or I will try and get rid of them in the sale as well. I have added some Pics of the car, the picture of the rear I have stolen from the internet and its a 335i but you can see my colour scheme. I also only had a pic of the rear seats and not of the front! What do you guys think my car is worth then? |

Wow even I didn't notice that when the dealer sent me the pic. I can assure you that my car has Xenons, my dealer sent me that pic of the my car, looks like its not my car then. When I picked up my car there was a 318d which when it was fitted with the kit I guess they sent both of us the same picture!

Can't see you getting 37k, unless it's someone after a specific setup and knows the kit you have added.
Unfortunately a lot of people knowing the kit will likely also know going rate for new / 2nd hand. You would need to take some proper photos of your actual car, as just showing other pics with wrong spec will put people off big time. |

I only paid 36k new for mine. Spec isn't so high but I have Nav, MSport, Viz plus a few other options and the service pack. The trick is to find someone who values the options.
Interested in the wheels and tyres, do you have a price in mind. Are the summers Bridgestone 19' runflats? |

However, they are lower mileage cars for same price. As you know selling options mean nothing, buying they add to costs. Main problem is new cars are cheaper than you think you can sell one with over 10k miles. |

What plate is it?
Tbh I think £32k is a good price for a trade in. £35k is possibly achievable but time+ money to sell and possibly a delay in a new car...worth it? |

Mines very similar to yours:
Full m performance body kit in body colour except the wheels Your spec, less the HUD & Ind Leather, but plus; Visibility pack Surround view Sunroof Adaptive suspension VSS 12k miles, 63 plate. First dealer offered 30k second offered 31,500! I think you've got a very good deal there and you should take it |

My advice is tell the dealer you'll accept £32k without the 20" alloys and put the 403's back on. Sell your 405's for £2k min. You will struggle to get more than £1k - 1.2k for the 403's.
They will likely list your car for £37k. |

I'd possibly be interested in buying the 20's off you dependant on price. Or alternatively a swop for my 19's bi-colour plus cash?

People, get realistic here, with LCI not far away and dealers are offering 20% + discounts, why the hell would someone pay £35k or more for it private when they could pick up a brand spanking new one for 40k with that sort of spec (after discount)
Buying from a dealer, someone may pay 35-37 as they would benefit from getting a loan, part-ex, peace of mind etc... |
