Cruise Control

Has anyone noticed the cruise control switches off when cornering 'enthusiastically'. Re-engages when back on the straight. Must be a safety thing!!!

Yep! I've noticed that on the slip road onto the M3 which is a nice corner both on and off the motorway.

not noticed it but could imagine it to be quite a twitchy moment when all of a sudden the car isnt *driving* around that high speed bend

Yeah I have too. Seems strange. Don't remember my old Merc doing that...

I've had cruise on lots of cars before and first time it's happened to me.

Nice to know it's normal!!

Yep, did it on my old E92 as well. Annoying as the car could go round half the corners it does it on 20mph faster!
