Tint shop in Brooklyn?

I hear good things about some shops out in LI and NJ that do great work with tints but does anyone have any exceptional experiences with a Brooklyn shop?

Yup^ I plan on bringing my car there. Authorize llumar tint dealer. I loved llumar tint. Has a rich charcoal black to it.

i have a caution review:

212 motoring

$400 for a low quality tint and horrible customer service.

my friend with a regular 328 went to do a tint, they charged him upfront 400. as they were doing it they cut rubber seals almost on every window, the installer was very rude to him, when he mentioned the seals, installer made a statement along these lines: "not like you have an expensive car, what do u care" ... regardless of a civic or a bentley these statements piss me off the most.

I went to 212 motoring once with my e60 530xi and they did a poor job. When I asked what kind of tint was used they replied with regular tint and didn't bother to check what kind of tint it was. My fault for not asking questions before leaving my car but decided not to go there anymore.

I made an appointment with Art of Tint, they supposedly have sole rights to Llumar formula one series tint in the area (not sure what they mean by area) but I've looked it up and seems to be a good quality tint. Quoted me $300 for classic series and $400 for pinnacle series (ceramic) on my f82. Will update with reviews.

My M4 was tinted by The Art of Tint. I got ceramics all around, 90% Pinnacle Air on the windshield, 35% on the front side windows and 15% on the rear windows and read shield. Tom did a great job, just be prepared to wait around for like 4 hours. Thankfully there were a lot of cafes in the neighborhood so I just got studying done while waiting.

Windshield - AIR 80 - 78% VLT
Front and Rear side windows - PINNACLE 30 - 33% VLT
Rear Windshield - PINNACLE 15 - 18% VLT

Got these installed at Art of Tint 2 days ago, still waiting for full curing process to complete but so far I've been satisfied with the product and service. Tom made an appointment and stuck to it. I brought in my car dirty because I didn't have time to wash it so he offered a complementary hand wash before he got started. Took less than 3 hours and I got a text notifying me that the car was done. Overall great experience would definitely recommend.

@Penguinman87 Tint looks great! I want a similar setup, one question for you: Does your car have heads up display, and if so does the windshield tint have any effect on it?

Car has HUD. Windshield tint doesn't affect the clarity or visibility of it.
