New contributor - Just swapped 328i sport line for M235i
The title says it all - I loved my 328i but I expect to really love my M235i that will be delivered on about 2 weeks. I was able to negotiate what I think was a great deal, but (there's always a but), the car I've decided on doesn't have the "lights package". It does have the bi-xenon lights as a standard feature - does this mean that I will not have the bright white DRL's that my 328i had? Will the DRL's be 'orange'?. If so is it an option for a later retrofit for the bright white DRL's?
I was really impressed with the F30 forum when I was new to BMW a few years ago, information, assistance and friendly banter are the norm - a 'one stop information" source. I hope to continue that here with you guys now that I've come over to the 2 series forum. |

Welcome! I think all the 235s comes with the white DRLs which look awesome!
By lights package I presume you mean visibility package? Which is just adaptive headlights, high beam assist and mirror folding. |

Yes that's the package - I didn't have too much choice in that part as the car was already on the boat. I'm happy with the overall packages on the car and even more happier now that I know that the DRL's are not orange like my wife's 1 series coupe.
