1/4 mile time sticky?

i know quite a few of the past forums i participated in had a thread that was a sticky that kept track of the fastest 1/4 mile times from the forum. it would be great if we could start something like that here

they required:
user name
time slip
tune?
downpipes/catback?
octane of the fuel you used
other mods (intake mani? lw rotors? meth, tires etc.)
other info (any weight reduction done? tire size? density altitude if you know it...)

lets start the thread here and i will update in spreadsheet form
must have time sheet and picture of your car/# in order to validate it

Agree, I think there should be a road course lap time thread too.

I'm in... Should definitely get a thread going. Would like to see comparisons with different tunes as well in quarter mile times.

I just went and got 12.1@120 and 12.7@122. jb4 map 7 and map6. 1/2 e85/93 Oct mixture with 5 gal of 110 race fuel. er dp and k&n drop ins. track sucked and I've always ran 1/2 second slower here. could not hook up at all. had to let off in first gear every run hence the high ets. Dct trans

I have 18" volk te37sl on the way fitted with 305/35/18 555r drag radials. these should have no issues hooking up and I can turn 1-2 gear fully up now. I will be going to a better track that is 2 hrs away so hopefully will post some low 11s. will get a time slip posted soon hopefully.

Not the fastest time but got to run the car for the first time yesterday!
Stock car with 3/4 tank of shell 91
Castrol Raceway in Alberta
Corrected Altitude was 5300 ft. and it was 28C (82f) so wasn't expecting great ET's. LC was 2600 rpm
Ran 12.24 @ 118.3
Hopefully some cooler temps and better air temps for next time.

Cheers

How did it hook up? Seems decent on the 60ft - any wheel spin?

It hooked pretty well, had a small amount of chatter leaving but not terrible. Track was prepped for pro mods testing so they did a decent job with it. I popped by for a quick few passes and never adjusted tire pressure so the 60' prob could have improved a touch. Also should have tried a lower LC rpm, might have helped.

that 60' could be a 1.8 on a good day, which puts you at high 11's easy

nice traps

Most of these m3 time slips are showing 2.0 60' times which is really not that low but understandable for a car with a lot of torque and street tires. Running low 12s is great though with that 60'.

In case it's of interest, my f30 335 xdrive 6mt consistently ran 1.7x 60' times but ended the 1/4 mile at only 13.6 (also very consistent). I'd love to see what the M3 would run with drag radials to get a peak launch.

I get my 305 drag radials on te37sl this wed.. hoping to get back to the track within the next couple weeks.

I could only manage a crappy 2.2 60' on advan ad08r tires. spun through first and had to let off in 2nd then get back in it
