IND | F82 M4 Painted Carbon Fiber Interior Trim Set



IND brings a new option for our clients looking to add a bit of color to the interior of the M4. The BMW OEM dash and door trims are painted by hand, and available accented with nearly any automotive color to compliment the exterior or interior of the vehicle. In this particular instance, we have Laguna Seca Blue. Hope to have installed shots soon!

The set will include both dash pieces, and both front and rear door trims.

How can I remove the piece on the door where the lights are...seems to be very tight on there. Any special tricks?

Hi Austin! I'll share some information from our emails with the forum members here as well.

In order to remove the glossy trim from the doors, the door panel in it's entirety must be removed first. From there the plastic welded rivets on the back side must be drilled out to release the trim from the door panel. In order to secure a new or replacement trim set, new clips (PN: 51 41 8 144 600) must be used.

You will be able to pry off the door trims using a plastic pry tool and patience. I strongly recommend starting from the end with the larger base and working your way around the whole trim, top and bottom, until it fully releases.

any chance you provide CF trim with pearl chrome, it will go nicely with the new pearl chrome around the vents form MY16 models?

Unfortunately not as we would need a chrome base to start with.
