I am still on the fence about trading in my car for a 2016 M3 or 340 xdrive but I am expecting 6% to 7% discount from MSRP before the 2% BMW club discount and $1,000 loyalty discount + a trade in value on the high side of black book value. This will be my fourth BMW with the same dealer so that is the minimum I expect from them. |

their business model relies completely on their service revenue - sales markup is a very small part of their bottom line - however, the more cars they sell the more they service

Likely less discounting on an M though gents.
These aren't high volume 3 series or Xs. Some models they don't discount at all. As in 0%. (I know a few M6 drivers who paid full sticker, period) Big demand, low production = no incentive to discount, right? Now, if you take a 2015 M4 off the lot you might save on the high side, but if you are factory ordering......I don't think you'll approach 9%. (wish you luck, but don't see it) Good luck to you but if you start to approach 5% take it and run.

We will see how it plays out. I am looking at contacting the dealer in September or October to make an order for a 2016 model wth 6 speed manual. By that time the Mercedes C450 and AMG C63 will also be out so hopefully demand will not be as strong at that time of year for a rear wheel drive vehicle and also there will be more competition.
As a 4 time repeat BMW customer I am happy to keep my car, move to Mercedes or another brand, or jump on a M3 or 340 xdrive..........I will see what the dealer can do to convince me to buy another vehicle from them :-) |

The m6 is listing $15k factory credit allowance + whatever you can get off from dealer side
This kind of credit allowance for m5 and m6 happens every year. I see as much as $20k off on just factory credit a couple yrs back Last edited by bobblehead; 06-18-2015 at 07:11 PM.. |

I got 3% on a 2015 June factory production M4 from BMW Laval (north of Montreal). I didn't negotiate much because I know realistically not possible to get more than 2-5% and that extra 2% is not that worth of the time and energy to put into it. I like my salesman and been with him for 15 years.
In the past, I used carcostcanada, not sure if they still around. Some people reported 5%, but there are so many factors that you may not know. Generally I'd expect something for giving repeat business but 9% is ludicrous. |

Honestly I tried hard to get more but I knew I wouldn't get much more in our tiny Quebec market...

Hi,
I'm a new member and I just purchased a new YMB M4 coupe for $82k. It is loaded with the exception of Exec package, kinda bummed because I wanted the LED lights but I think I got a good deal over all. I hope I like the colour in person.
