Anyone in K-Town(or surrounding areas) know about VAG-Com?
Feel free to move if needed,
But my parents are around that area and have recently purchased a US spec VW Beetle and want to get the Euro maps unlocked. The dealership is refusing to touch it, and I've searched for hours on end trying to figure something out to help them out. I'd imagine someone with access to VAG-COM would be able to work with it and get it unlocked. I know how to navigate through E-SYS, but from what I've seen of VAG-COM, I don't think I'd be able to work my way through it. If anyone had any pointers in a way, or know of someone that could help out, it would be greatly appreciated. |

Try this: http://www.maptive.com/ver3/VCDS_Locator
And or search www.vwvortex.com You can also go to an APR dealer, they all have the software. Find a dealer at www.goapr.com And here is what you can do: http://www.golfmk6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=36478 |

Wanting to know if it's possible to unlock the Navigation to use the European maps in a us-spec 2015 beetle. My dad said he also wants to look into removing the geo-lock or something like that

The nav is one of the areas that can't be coded. You can send your nav unit to have it coded for Europe. A few companies offer this.
