OT: Best Burger advice

Hi guys.

Me and my partner are going to LA for the first time next week. Which fast food restaurants do the best burgers? (not mcdonalds). Here we have just had a new Five Guys restaurant which we love and we said for a bit of fun we would find something similar in LA.

Any advice? Burger recommendations?

Cheers.

Hey Jammy21,

If your looking for a decent fast food style burger that is comparable to Five Guys you should try In and Out Burger. In and Out is pretty much native to California only and they have menu options that they don't show. If your looking for more of a sit down with a beer style gourmet burger you should try Fathers Office. They are voted one of the best burger in LA and are only offer one burger with no customization. Fathers Office is only open after 5pm M-F and 12pm on the weekends. They are little pricy but definitely worth it.

I love In n Out, but my new favorite is The Habit Burger Grill.

Everything is good. If you like chocolate shakes or malts, make sure to order one here.

Sounds like you have some eating to do. Enjoy!

+1 for fathers office
In n out
Pie n burger (since 1963)
Dog haus (although known for hot dogs, I think their burger is even better!)
Slaters 50/50 (I think it's overrated but lots of ppl love it)
Bachi burger (originally from Vegas)
The apple pan (haven't tried this one yet)

Apple Pan is an LA institution.

Been around ForEVER.

FYI, OP: We have Five Guys here, too, now.
